Very easy to locate straight off M1. Secure and quiet location. Rooms were well equipped and en-suite clean, with a good, powerful shower. Breakfast was included - basic but tasty. Will definitely visit again if attending another event in Campbell Park.
Liked: Clean; welcoming and helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing.

We arrived tired from our journey up from the south coast. The lobby staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was clean, tidy and what we would expect from a Holiday Inn hotel. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The bathroom and shower each had liquid soap dispensers. The bed was very comfortable with the choice of hard or soft pillows. There was also a modern flat screen TV in the apartment. A breakfast was included in the price. This consisted of all you can eat cereals, toast, sausages, scrambled eggs, cheese, tea, coffee and fruit juices. There is also a Harvester Pub/Restaurant on site so that you don't have to go out looking for an evening meal. My wife and I both have bus passes and we enquired at the front desk if there was a bus stop nearby. We were directed to the bus stop for the number 8 bus which took us to the centre of Milton Keynes. The Holiday Inn Express was the perfect place to stay and we would certainly stay there again if we are in Milton Keynes.
Liked: A perfect stop over.

Good stay
Liked: I had a good night sleep. The room was good temperature and it was dark. I was able to store my child milk in the fridge at the reception. The wash basin was nice and big with good water pressure unlike the shower. There was hidden door chain in the door so I could double lock it to prevent my child exiting the room, as the door nob lock just get unlocked the moment you put handle down, which is not really lockable from inside to prevent your child to escape the room while you sleep or while you using the bathroom. I m really glad the receptionist told me about the chain, when I expressed my concern, as I would be very worried staying here, as I would be continuously trying to block the door and be anxious the whole stay. One more thing I got to mention was, the USB socket by the bed. The were two USB ports and socket on each side which was amazing, I could charged all our phones in one go without fighting for socket. Well done for that.
Disliked: I didn't like the fact that there were only towels for 3 people when we were booked for 4. It meant another visit to reception to inform them which makes my life more difficult when you have to get your child with special needs ready to go up and down when he has tendency to run off and don't understand you are just going to collect something from reception and then needs to go back to room. It just annoying and not so simple for everyone, so I just gave up and shared wet towel. The sofa bed was quite hard to sleep on but due to the room temperature, darkness and being exhausted, I had a good sleep.I didn't like the shower pressure, it was disappointing. It was probably blocked shower head from lime scale.I didn't like the lock on the door as when it's locked, it's get unlocked the moment you put the handle down. Not very safe when you got small kids or kids with additional needs who just want to go out of room. Luckily I was told about he door chain as I didn't see it hidden inside the door even the sign was there. I just thought it was missing.I didn't like the options on wending machine. I asked at the reception for a face flanel and she said I can purchase it there. I could not see it at first but then I saw flanel and some washing soap for £5.00 I didn't want no soap, I just needed a flanel for my son. Also the breakfast area was very full and not many tables to sit down with buggy by your side. I had to cut my breakfast short as I could not deal to go with the buggy to pick up some more to eat as I could not carry it all the first. Luckily my little girl with social anxiety went to get me a juice which I was very pleased for. Its hard for parent with kids and especially when you got one older with special needs who can't be left unattended trying to get breakfast. There should be designated area for families or disable or something to help us out, so we can get food easily.

Good
Liked: The hotel, although looking a very tired, was perfect for what we needed to stay for our weekend ,all the staff that we had contact with were very helpful and greeted us with a smile, and always were willing to help, also it was great that you could just press a button to book a taxi at reception to get you into the shopping areas etc. And a great central location for access to other places to visit and eat out with family and friends. Although you can eat either in the hotel or across at the harvester. And there is plenty of car parking spaces for all.
Disliked: We arrived to book in and helped to get our rooms for our stay, we noticed that although clean, it clearly wasn't looking it's best, and looking very tired and when we got too our room, first we noticed that one of the lifts was out of order and was still out of order all the time that we were there for our stay..once in our room it's was clean but again it was looking really tired and stains on the carpet due to the air-conditioning unit which was not working for the whole of our stay, we were however given a fan which was helpful, but then the TV wasn't working properly even though we had help from staff, the room was a good size but it would be nice to have a few nice pictures on the wall and the room could do with decorating and new carpets, the bathroom was a good space and it was nice to have a shower that was a good size on the last night. of our stay, they had run out of food in the evening, and some drinks at the bar were not available as they had run out.. according to our friends and family.. we had booked elsewhere for our evening meal out at a local pub nearby.
