Liked: Breakfast Fruit juice was awful, couldn’t drink it., clearly diluted incorrectly. GF options were not available, on any bakery products. No milk alternatives, I..e almond or soya milk. No way of heating milk if you wanted porridge, just add water, yuk.Coffee cups dirty, cold water ran out and not replaced. Chocolate spread was not of good quality, croissants didn’t come out warm?cooked breakfast wasn’t consistent, it was a timing situation, if you hit it wrong it wasn’t good.RoomBathroom had not been cleaned, or not well anyway. Urine and pubic hairs on the ledge behind the lid, toothpaste sprays on tiles by sink, floor was not clean, shower gel empty. electric socket by inter connecting door worked intermittently, annoying when trying to blow dry your hair, I thought this was the hairdryer, which reception came up to check, it worked for the member of staff but as soon as they went it was intermittent again. Even my friends Dyson did the same - suggest it isn’t wired properly. Mentioned to reception about bathroom, they said they would send someone up, which they did, whilst we were out , everything done except urine and pubes on ledge behind toilet seat - this remained until we left after the two nights!LocationFantastic, thoroughly enjoyed the Lowry and Imperial War museum and close enough to the city for us to go to the theatre.

Great hotel for the money

Liked: Staff were very nice and helpful. Cesar salad and glass of wine surprisingly good. Breakfast good although sausages need improving. Close enough to the city centre
Disliked: I was initially given a key to a room that was already occupied (which I found out when I opened the door) The rooms were tired - pillows lumpy. Noise from car park loud

Fantastic location

Liked: The location was fantastic. Walking distance to the stadium, waterfront and Media city. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Great views from the hotel.
Disliked: Regrettably the plumbing is a problem. The male toilets in reception overflowed with excrement. The toilets were out of service for two days. Unfortunately the toilet in the room on the 5th floor also had a very weak flush. This resulted in significant water wastage, with numerous attempts to flush.The housekeeping service did a superficial job cleaning the bathroom. Not the standard expected at a hotel.
