Great find alternative hotel to...
Liked: Location right next to armouries, quite a walk to shopping centre area but this area is lovely, small selection of shops and cafes nearby and a pizza express for meal if not wanting to travel far. Nice bar area in hotel, parking is in multistorey right behind hotel. Water taxi runs in summer months for £3 pp each way which was a nice alternative to regular taxi. Area is surrounded by high rise flats and the river nearby and was quiet.
Disliked: Would have been too far to walk to shopping area and back for us after shopping all day. Would take 20- 30 mins I would say if a fast walker.

Perfect for a short getaway...
Liked: The breakfast was 10/10. Good quality and cooked well.
Disliked: Could be slightly closer. However, we were able to walk to and from both the city centre and coach station with both a 3yr and 5yr old.

Good value for the money...
Liked: This place delivers if you’re chasing value and a spot right where you want to be (next to the Royal Armouries). Step outside and you’re in the heart of it all.
Disliked: But breakfast? The scrambled eggs were a total flop. The bed was rock-hard, and the moody blue lighting felt more like a sci-fi set than a cozy retreat. Parking was down the street at a public lot. The area also felt industrial.
