Overall, this was a good...

Liked: The room was clean, modern, spacious and mostly accessible for a disabled person. (We booked an accessible room). The water pressure in the shower was fantastic! The breakfast had good options. I also liked that the pillows were marked as "soft" or "firm". That's a great detail that I haven't seen in other hotels.
Disliked: In the accessibility room, the handicap button to open the room door didn't seem to work. I had to hold the door open for my mom (using her walker). This could be a problem for disabled travelers travelling by themselves. Otherwise, the room was quite accessible for her.I wish there would've been a clock radio, but instead there was only some mechanism presumably to be used as an alarm. I couldn't figure out how to set the clock to a time, if that's even possible. Not sure why the room didn't have a clock radio? That seems standard for every hotel. I also didn't love that the microwave and the fridge were so low to the ground. I understand that they're trying to make things accessible to people in wheelchairs, but for those who can't (or don't like to) crouch, this was a bit annoying.

Liked: We loved the layout of the room, the pool, and the staff gave us an early check-in which was appreciated!
Disliked: Our floor was very noisy and we were in the room right in the middle of it. There were kids running up and down the halls for much of the day and into the night. We had to turn on a lot of white noise to drown it out.It seemed like they maybe put all the bookings with kids on the same floor but we are quite rigid with our kids about being very quiet in hotels so it would have been nice to be in a quieter area.

Comfortable and a good breakfast.

Liked: We like the updated decor in the room. The bed was comfortable, the shower and bathroom were great. We booked an accessible room and it met the needs of the guest with mobility issues. We like the energy saving features, like the automatic lights.
Disliked: We didn't know there was a 15% fee on top of what had been quoted through Booking.com. It would help if the breakfast area had more space as it was very busy.
