Disliked: I booked 2 rooms to take my grandkids swimming. Upon arrival we were told that the pool was not usable. I told the desk person that wouldn't work for our plans so I had to go elsewhere. Between Booking.com and the motel I was charged for the 2 rooms even though we did not stay there.

Liked: This is a very dirty hotel. I have stayed at holiday inns in the past and this was the worst experience ever! I even called once I was in my room and told the front desk that the room was not clean, frig, micro wave just dirty. Spots on the sheets, water to my ankles as I tried to shower. Mirror just smeared in the entire room
Disliked: Breakfast

Won’t be staying again unless...

Liked: We did enjoy the location as it’s right off the highway. Size of the king suite room was great.
Disliked: Our room had a recliner chair and it had GROSS MYSTERY STAINS ALL OVER IT. The floor next to the guest bed had weird like wood chips falling off of the side table. Felt like the room wasn’t truly clean clean. We slept on blankets we brought from home.

No water in pool!

Liked: Main reason for choosing HIE is because it claimed to have a pool. BUT POOL WAS NOT FUNCTIONING!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
