Adequate but not really comfortable.

Liked: Location — really convenient to UNCW, downtown Wilmington, and beaches. Very clean.
Disliked: Breakfast was pretty bleak — very little choice, food ran out, and employees didn’t speak English. When I asked if pepper was available, she just shrugged and walked away.None of the employees seemed very happy to be there.We had a “do not disturb” sign on our door and room service walked into our room.Doors don’t fit the door frames, so you have to really slam the room doors HARD to close them, so you hear doors slamming all night while you’re trying to sleep.

Disliked: Rooms weren’t really clean. Hotel is obviously going through a renovation at some point. New furniture was half assembled sitting in hallways and elevator areas. End tables were removed from room piled up in the parking lot. So nowhere to sit your phone down at night to charge other than the floor. Lamps were filthy with thick dust. Mimi fridge must have been leaking for some time. Dresser was water logged and moldy. Advertised as pool open, but it was not. Was one of the main reasons I booked with my kids, only to walk down to the pool in our bathing suits to find out it was closed. By the time we discovered all this, there wasn’t availability in any other nearby hotels so we were stuck here for the weekend. Wish I could upload more than 4 pictures.

Disliked: Smoking area was right at an entrance to the hotel. It was very annoying to be forced to walk through that or walk all the way around the building to the other entrance. They need to move the smoking area away from an entrance
