Wish I stayed somewhere else...

Liked: Rooms were new and super clean. Design was nice too.
Disliked: Under construction severely. To the point it shouldn’t have been open. There were workers outside of our room daily and the new paint smells and carpets were very pungent. The property was a mess and not suitable for kids.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: We had to request a different room after check in due to low shower pressure and no internet. The 2nd room had shower pressure but 1 bar for internet and had to sit in lobby and breakfast room.

Liked: We had a newly remodeled room with a cute beachy boho vibe. The bed was very comfortable and it was the perfect place to be for our Solano Beach visit. We walked to Fletcher Park, ate at a couple of nice restaurants up the street from the hotel and were glad to have a lovely accommodation near the places we needed to be!
Disliked: The safety bar in the shower was on the wrong end of the shower stall - nowhere near the opening to step in and out of the shower, so was no use at all.

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: It’s under construction. I wish I had been informed of that ahead of time. Also, the room rate should have been discounted or a credit given for having to deal with construction - especially in the parking lot.

Pleasant

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful...especially considering the hotel is undergoing a massive renovation.
Disliked: It is rather annoying to have a full renovation going on while you are staying at a hotel. It would be better if they had just closed and done the renovation all at once and reopened.

Disliked: I wish I would’ve known the hotel was under construction. Clerk talked too fast when explaining process. She wasn’t nice but wasn’t exactly rude.
