Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites San Antonio NW-Medical Area By IHG

I checked in on 9/14 to room #201 and left on 9/15 - on my way back to Corpus I realized I had left clothes in the closet so I called the hotel. The Rep was very courteous and understanding but he didn't realize I had left. I did not know I had to call and check out. Quite confusing but he took care of my checkout. Excellent rating.

Liked: Friendly staff; clean room.
Disliked: Check out not clear.

Disliked: needs more attention on the restroom, our shower was leaking, so little water came out. and our bed sheets were stained or dirty

IHG was not well represented...

Liked: Not bad.
Disliked: I had to switch rooms from 104 to 225 due to issues with the TV. However, the next room was not an improvement as it had stains on the carpet, a dirty shower-head, AC problems, a bathtub with cracking paint, and an unclean toilet.

Liked: The staff was very helpful and courteous along with exceptional clean environment during our stay.
Disliked: Being a retiree, we have had our share of overnight stays in various hotels. The breakfast was a 5 on a scale of 1 - 10. Better selections of fruits, yogurts, pastries and cereals would get you back up into the 10 category.
