Birthday celebration

Liked: My husband and I treated our daughter and family to celebrate our two granddaughters birthday!! Our goal was to have family fun in the pool!!
Disliked: While the hotel and our room was very clean the pool deck was filthy!! Not sure what the issue was but I'm thinking dirt from the potted plants caused most of the issue! This morning my daughter took the girls to the pool and it was the same message with a few beer cans laying about!! Also there were no towels!! Yesterday or today!!

Liked: The location was within 15 minutes of where we needed to be the next morning (SVSU)
Disliked: The room was not ready on time. We were given keys to a room and told it would be ready in 10 minutes to just wait in the lobby and they would let us know when it was ready. 40 minutes later they came to use sitting in the lobby with all of our things and asked why we were still sitting there. When we told the front desk man we were waiting to be told our room was ready he took the keys went to the counter came back and said "Here this room has been ready for hours, not sure why you're still sitting here". Got up to the new room, no towels in the room called the front desk no one brought them up, had to go and get them ourselves. The wall outlets only 2 in the whole room worked, and there was a constant beeping coming from the USB plugs between the two beds. In the morning, breakfast was not ready at 7 am and what was set out was old and cold. There were no forks or napkins and the yogurt in the fridge was warm.

Liked: Their breakfast was good and staff kept it full at all times.
Disliked: Upon arrival there was no water and we were advised it would be out for a couple hours. The bathroom was dirty and we even found a tooth on the ground in there. That was gross. Our room was very close to the lobby, it was loud, walls are thin because we could hear everything going on in the room directly above us. They didn't settle down until after 3am. The pool was decent, but had a foggy color going on in there.

Liked: Josh was very helpful, kind & professional. He made a new pot of coffee for me early in the morning before breakfast. He was also great at check in.
Disliked: Nothing.
