Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Portland - Jantzen Beach By IHG

I am disabled so we asked for a disabled room and we got to the room and the bed was so low to the floor I wouldn't be able to get up but the bathroom was good. So we asked for a regular room and the bed was so high that I couldn't get in and the bathroom was super small and the toilet was so low it felt like I sat on the floor and I had a lot of trouble getting up. I will never stay there again!

Excellent stay in convenient location!

Liked: This location works well for attending concerts in Portland and Vancouver, and we've stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and well-appointed with newer decor and great air-conditioning. We like the pool and hot tub with extended hours of 5:00 am-11:00 pm. The breakfast is excellent with pancakes, cinnamon rolls, pre-made omelets, bacon, and other standard Holiday Inn breakfast fare. Staff have been professional and friendly.

Comfortable and spacious room but...

Liked: The room was spacious and we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves.
Disliked: Being advertised as 200 feet from the water, I did not see the water and perhaps it was beyond the tall chain link fence. Not the best setting.

Disliked: ANT PROBLEM! As we were leaving, we noticed a ton of ants in an area of the room, crawling around the desk. Pool smelled strongly of mildew (or something of a similar smell)
