Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Portland - Jantzen Beach By IHG

I am disabled so we asked for a disabled room and we got to the room and the bed was so low to the floor I wouldn't be able to get up but the bathroom was good. So we asked for a regular room and the bed was so high that I couldn't get in and the bathroom was super small and the toilet was so low it felt like I sat on the floor and I had a lot of trouble getting up. I will never stay there again!

Liked: We had a great experience at the hotel. It’s located on an island, close to a shopping mall. Close to I-5 highway. The room was cleaned frequently, and the staff was very kind and supportive. We especially appreciated the attention from Gordon, the general manager. The hotel also has a gym and a guest laundry facility.
Disliked: Only details. Broken toilet switch. Blinds were not working in my room. I believe it was just a bad luck. believe it was just a bad luck.

Liked: Breakfast was great. The price was okay. The staff was sweet and took care of their customers. It was easy to park. I liked the nearby shopping.
Disliked: The pictures on booking.com showing a sauna were misleading! There was NO SAUNA, and that was the number one reason why I kept that reservation and didn't go with a hotel that offered studios with a kitchen around the same price point. There was no compensation for the misleading photos. After-hours food options were somewhat limited. Having two Holiday Inns off of the same exit caused confusion for food delivery services and check-in.
