Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Moab By IHG

A bit disappointing.

Liked: We've started staying at HIE hotels because of the reliable standards you keep. My stay at the one in Moab, UT was a bit of a letdown.
Disliked: Temperature control didn't allow me to keep the fan on all night...which helps me sleep. A printed "how to" on that would have been helpful...I've been able to figure it out at all the other HIEs I've stayed at, but this location didn't seem to offer that option.Usually, there is a printed list of TV channels, which is VERY helpful when there are 100s of channels to choose from. In regard to that, I think it's why the remote control buttons were worn out and only worked intermittently.

I will consider staying again...

Liked: Breakfast was outstanding, large variety of choices. Room was clean.
Disliked: Pool was clear but, tile around the pool water was dirty. The floor above my room was noisy you could here every foot steep.

Liked: Breakfast and location were absolutely great, the gym/fitness area and pool / hot tub area were exceptional, especially the gym! (Pool sometimes a bit crowded). Location that close to Arches NP and Canyonlands NP as well as Dead Horse Point State Park was exceptional and the area - outside Moab - felt safe, easy to walk around and wonderful views to the rocky areas. Especially a lady of the front desk had best tips for tourists.
Disliked: Our room was very damp as the air conditioning didn't work properly - would have hoped, that when we told them, we would have gotten another room, as we stayed for 3 nights, plus we were just above the roof leading to the pool, so our view was limited by that.
