I was really disappointed. Best thing about our stay was the breakfast staff. My two grandsons and I came down about 10:30 so I could get a cup of coffee and even though they were cleaning up and done with breakfast, she offered us bagels or muffins. My grandsons got bagels and milk while I got coffee. Extremely pleasant and helpful woman. Apparently she was there when we checked in and knew about the mix up with our room felt bad about it.
Disliked: Coming off the freeway from the north at night, your sign is not very visible - took us a while to find the motel. It was between 8-9pm when we checked in with 3 small children and was given a room on the third floor. Had to find employee to help us, as the room number on the keycard envelope was occupied by an elderly couple. Keycards are great as long as they work, which ours did not half the time. Pool was the smallest I have seen at any hotel. Will book at Motel 8 next time - we found their motel really easily.

Liked: Great location and cost. Amazingly attentive staff. My room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was fantastic

Liked: Stay at this hotel everytime we go down to California. Best hotel we ever stayed at! Super clean and comfortable. And staff is friendly at all times not to forget their breakfast is the best.

Disliked: We did NOT stay at the property. At check in, we were told an error was made in booking as we thought it was Pet Friendly. We cancelled the reservation at the front desk at check in expecting to only pay for the first night and be credited with the remaining nights but were told we needed to contact booking.com - which I did and were told by booking that we had to contact the property directly. We went through this twice to no avail. I've been running in circles back and forth
