Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Howell

This hotel met our expectations....

Liked: I enjoyed the variety to choose from. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Superb

Liked: Everything was really nice and clean, solid breakfast spread and the rooms are spacious. The bedding could be a bit more comfortable, but still did the job. Ron was working the front desk when we arrived and he was friendly and helpful. Overall, I would stay here again in the future.

Disappointing

Liked: I booked a double queen room and when I got there, I was told by the staff to never use a third-party to book a hotel because it booked a king size room instead.They were full, and did not have any more double queen, rooms, there were multiple people that had the same problem as me. Which means they ran out of rollaway cot beds as well.

Never staying at any holiday...

Standard option but nothing special

Liked: The check-in and check-out process was fast and easy. Breakfast was good although some items were not replenished. The staff were all very nice and helpful and the location of the hotel is very convenient. Our bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The room we were in had stains on the carpet, a chair cover because I'm assuming the chair was stained, and the road noise in the room we had was very loud and disrupted our sleep.

Exceptional

Liked: The quick check in when we arrived to the hotel. We had to be somewhere at a certain time and the quickness of the check in ensured we had plenty of time to get our items to the room and relax for a moment.
Disliked: I wish breakfast was at 6, rather than 7 am. We were not able to have breakfast in the morning at the hotel due to having to leave earlier to be where we needed to be for the day.
