Simple, no frills, basic place...

Liked: Simple, no frills hotel. Useful as somewhere to sleep when exploring the area. Walking distance to Redondo Beach Pier and Hermosa Beach. Wi-Fi was reasonable but not brilliant, room was comfy and clean. The room had a fridge and a microwave, and the hotel is close to supermarkets which was useful.
Disliked: The staff could be friendlier. The TV had no guide, just a paper list of channels and numbers, which was a little hard to navigate. The pillows aren't very comfy. The breakfast was terrible if you have any dietary requirements at all -- even non-dairy milk was impossible to come by, and all the hot items are non-vegetarian.

Short break in LA's Hormosa...

Liked: This was a great Hotel, good size room, good king bed, absolutely fantastic breakfast menu, very well maintained. Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Towels were changed and bed made each day. Most food places closed at 9pm, so we tried the Thai, which was the closest to us, and it didn't dissapoint. Great food!
Disliked: Location was a little out of the way without a car. We did walk to the beach but it was a stretch and hilly. Most food places closed at 9pm.

Liked: Second time we’ve stayed here… Free parking, easy check-in, clean spacious rooms, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was good alot of options.
Disliked: Nothing bad to say both times I’ve visited
