Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ft. Lauderdale-Plantation By IHG

I stayed for 1 night and thank goodness that is all I had to stay for. The first room they gave us smelled of mildew and everything felt "wet". After looking at the A/C I found mold and mildew where the air blew out. I immediately requested a new room. They did upgrade us to a suite that didn't smell but it still didn't feel clean. I will not be staying at that hotel again.

Disliked: We spent the night with NO A/C and the staff very diligent and helpful trying to fixed the issue, with the hotel overbooked offer us to refunded the money but at that time wasn't able to find a room around

Great location

Liked: The location is great.
Disliked: The air conditioning unit near the bed is poorly positioned, as it blows directly onto the person sleeping there. This creates an uncomfortable experience and could easily cause someone to become ill. It significantly detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. I recommend adjusting the vent direction or relocating the unit to improve guest comfort.
