Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Fort Worth Downtown

My daughter and I made a fast trip to Dallas to IKEA and The Container Store then drove to Fort Worth to the hotel. Parked the car and did not have to move it again until we headed home, thanks to the shuttle service. Went to the KIMBALL before checking out - thanks again to the shuttle. Until checking out I did not realize there was a daily $10.00 parking fee. But worth it when the shuttle service is there.

Liked: Shuttle service. Breakfast. Staff.
Disliked: Noisy bathroom light/fan combination. One bed too close to the wall - less than four inches from the wall where the thermostat is located.

Passable

Liked: I liked the bed, and the breakfast was decent too
Disliked: It wasn’t properly cleaned. I found a used condom on the side of the bed. My son touched it. Staff didn’t even bat an eye, just acted like it was a normal occurrence. I was appalled.

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. Breakfast was great. The staff was helpful as to things to do in Fort Worth. Even giving directions.

Liked: Front desk people were the friendliest I've ever met and I travel a lot
Disliked: Parking was very limited

Barely adequate

Liked: The staff was fantastic. .
Disliked: The facility was old and in rough shape. The sink was cracked. The vanity was coming off the wall. The shower was practically non-functional.

Liked: Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Not your typical Holiday Inn. More like what you would expect from a Motel 6. Hallways were unclean, hot and had a bad odor. Room was extremely small and the bathroom was barely big enough to stand in. Parking lot spaces which I paid extra for barely big enough to park a car in without needing a can opener to get in and out of. Just overall a bad choice. On the bright side the staff was extremely friendly.
