Great location, friendly staff

Liked: Location was great. the hotel is located right off the interstate. You can walk to the Waffle House. The room was good size. We were able to store our bicycles in the room and still have plenty of room for us. The staff was extremely accommodating. They allow us to change room once they saw we had bikes. Upon check in, they suggested moving us to the first floor. This kept us from having to use the elevator to move our bike in and out each time we went riding.
Disliked: The hotel is under renovation, and you could see the room was in the process of being renovated. Such as paint touch ups and mix match colors. There were construction materials in the parking lot. For the price we paid, I would have expected a little better presentation. The free breakfast was as expected. It was enough to get you on the road with coffee, juice and some hot items,

Liked: The power went out. There was no backup generator. We were getting our things together and packing up our car and getting ready to leave (at 8:00 a.m.), and the cleaners came into our room twice while we were packing. I told them we were still packing, the cleaning lady left, and then, not even 5 minutes later, came back. When I asked Management about the issue, their response was that the cleaners don't understand english. It was just a frustrating experience altogether. (I am on a family vacation with my 73 year old mother and 5 year old daughter.) Who was great about the entire experience.
