Liked: We fly in and out of Detroit Metro Airport a few times every year to visit family. In the past, we would stay in Romulus the night before our departure flight. But the hotels in Romulus charge for parking, while the hotels in Belleville do not. This made our visit more efficient when checking out and the drive to the airport and rental car return easy. In the future, we will continue to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Belleville.
Disliked: It would be nice to have a "grab and go" breakfast option for those needing to leave before 6:00 am, for early flights.

Liked: It was a great surprise when we arrived. Nice, open, clean, great reception. Room very comfortable, clean and roomy. Parking. Mini-market, good coffee. Restaurants around it to choose. Very convenient to go to the airport without hassle.

Liked: The room. The pool.
Disliked: The fact that when we arrived, there were no luggage carts because a family reunion was using them to hold their drinks and coolers, the next day the same family reunion had all the breakfast gone, we couldn't use the pool because they were all in there.... then next day, the water was cut off from 8am to 5pm.. no showers.. I asked for fresh towels and toilet paper. They were never brought. The people at the front desk must take a class on how to be perks with a smile. They smile right to your face all while being complete jerks. We were charged 3 different prices for 3 different nights..
