Liked: The HI in Tupelo is in an excellent, safe, and convenient location. The hotel itself is clean and very comfortable. The rooms were immaculate and the bathrooms pristine. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The check in process was seamless. Beds were very comfortable, and the modern decor of the room was great. Ice machines and vending very accessible on each floor. Extensive breakfast selections which were delicious and plenty. Excellent dinner restaurant within walking distance and others a very short drive.
Disliked: Our experience was perfect except witnessing the breakfast attendant berate a fellow guest because he said she didn't close the lid on the tray of biscuits. It was highly inappropriate and unprofessional to shame another adult the way he did. The guest ended up in tears and apologized to me in the dining area stating she thought I was getting food next since I was right behind her, and she didn't want to close it on me. I had to assure her she did nothing wrong and that no one should be treated that way especially a paying customer.

Liked: This is a perfect location for us as we travel south. Right off the main road and near places to eat and shop. The breakfast was exceptional for a hotel and the staff were very friendly. We have stayed here on our trips in the past and will certainly stay here in the future.
