There was no stay.
Liked: My reservation was canceled due to overbooking. Not good business to do that to people. It seems you should have better control over your reservation program.
Disliked: Being cancelled.

Worst hotel experience of my...
Disliked: I booked months in advance, when I arrived at the hotel, they gave me the complete opposite kind of room than what I booked and said they could not give me the right one until the next day. This caused a huge inconvience considering that all hotels were sold out and I was there for work. I was not given the adequate room. Upon check out, and after looking at my bank account, the hotel ALSO charged me about $100 more than what I was supposed to pay. I have requested the appropriate refund for the first nights stay where I was given the wrong room with no other choice, I was booked for a total of three nights. When I confronted the hotel about the charges they said since I booked third party, there was nothing they can do. I contacted booking.com for the complaint, they said they would reach out to the hotel. Eventually booking. com said the hotel would not respond, shocker, and that after 5 days, they would be the ones to refund the first night and the over charge. I am at two weeks now dealing with this and booking.com customer service keeps giving me the runaround, when I ask for a supervisor they ask to put me on hold only for them to hang up on me and I have to start the whole process over. This is WRONG, on both Holiday Inn and Booking.com. Neither of them are holding themselves accountable and I paid MORE than what I agreed too, on top of being given the absolute opposite room of what I BOOKED.
