Liked: Bathroom was broken from the fan to the door not locking.Price for one night was close to $200 and it’s next to a truck stop…not bad for one night but I wouldn’t stay for a long period

Liked: Check in was very stressful. There was an issue between booking.com and the hotel regarding the payment of one of my rooms. Instead of the hotel dealing with the payment issue I was delayed check in until I resolved the issue. I had my receipt of payment but was told I had to resolve their issue before being allowed to check in. Leaving me in the lobby talking on my cell phone trying to resolve the payment issue between booking.com and the Holiday Inn Express.

Outdated and a bit icky…...

Liked: It was north of Nashville which is what I wanted. It provided breakfast too. The staff was very friendly.
Disliked: It was NOT well maintained. My room had gunk and drink rings on the table from previous guests. The entire room smelled like wet dog. The window had pieces of plaster missing. My kids wanted to swim (which was the main reason I chose this hotel) but the pool floor was very dirty with puddles of mucky water. My daughter was in her tip toes just begging to leave. It simply just needs a facelift and more daily cleaning attention. Because of the above though, the price tag seemed a bit high for a place that made me feel a bit icky

Disliked: The bathroom was horrible. The door was shredded from a past person's dog staying. The sheets were not clean, no one would answer front desk. I also waited 15 mins to even check in before someone came to the desk. There was trash that wasn't mine in the trash cans. The shampoo was also empty in the shower.
