Holiday Inn Express Henderson, Henderson

As always the room was...

Liked: Comfortable. Well maintained. Had a tub. Good bed.
Disliked: Our only issue was noise. It was the week between Christmas and NY. Very few guests were there. Our second night the desk placed a team of young basketball players in several rooms across the hall from us. They were noisy. Our third night - we came in from dinner and the woman at the desk said she was waiting for some late check ins. At 11:15 we were awakened by people arriving in the room on the other side of our bed. Again noisy. We didn’t appreciate these things, considering there were many rooms open. We would have appreciated the staff being more considerate.

Liked: The hotel was very nice and clean. We loved the soap dispensers in the bathroom.
Disliked: The guy who checked us in couldn’t get off of his game to check us in properly. The one older lady at the desk is slightly unpleasant. She practically followed us around the hotel when we weren’t in our room during most of our stay. I won’t be back for this reason only, and that sucks because this is one of the nicer hotels in Henderson.

Liked: The lady at check in was sweet, got through the paperwork and information quickly and effectively.
Disliked: Walking into the room, the bathroom wasn't clean. There was hair clogging the bathtub drain, hairs all around the bathtub and shower, feces in the toilet from someone previously. I had to clean the bathroom before doing anything else as I was told there was nothing to be done. The couple before me ended up checking out 10 minutes after checking in because of the condition of their room. At check out, the customer service from the manager at the front desk was beyond unprofessional. Her attitude and the way she handled everything was poor. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and she isn't always like that. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a holiday inn, which is sad considering it's my go to hotel when I stay somewhere. If you're looking for a holiday inn, I recommend either in Evansville.. avoid this one.
