Liked: Reasonably priced hotel considering parking and good breakfast included. Interesting area for a nice walk along canal. Needs a little bit of decorating but all clean & tidy. Very comfy beds. Booked an overnight stay for wedding in Amersham. Would recommend.
Disliked: Just needs a bit of updating.

Disliked: 1.Second occasion was given rooms not ready as if previous person not checked out. 2.Hairdryer caught fire3.usb sockets not working - unable to charge phone4. Breakfast looked good, but was stale as if reheated.Stayed in many Holiday inn express' and this is the worst so far. By far

Comfortable and welcoming

Liked: We were travelling with a 12 day old baby and a dog. The room was comfortable, supper in the restaurant and breakfast good. The most important thing for us was the staff who were really welcoming to all of us.

Great ideal and friendly

Liked: - Great friendly service- sofa bed set up ready for arrival - reasonable choice for breakfast- ideal price for visiting locally
Disliked: Arrived to 6-7 police officers entering reception and walking through the building. Not the hotels fault but an off-putting entrance arriving to check in and having half a team of officers stood Infront of you.

Well-placed, for Harry Potter and...

Liked: We chose this hotel as we were going to the Warner Bros Studio tour (Harry Potter) and for that it couldn't be better placed and reasonable cost for the area. The reception staff were excellent, cheerful, polite and helpful. The room was an adequate size for two adults and our twelve year old grandson; it would have accommodated four adults but a bit snug. The beds were comfortable and extra pillows were provided on request. There was a kettle and basic coffee/tea making facilities, as expected. Everywhere was clean and tidy.
Disliked: Car parking was tight by the time we returned at 10pm, there were only a couple of spaces left. The room was rather hot and the air conditioning made very little difference, despite being noisy on anything other than the lowest setting. There were one or two maintenance issues, but nothing that, detracted from an overnight stay, might have been different for anything longer.
