Disliked: Faucet broken in room, room not clean, not a lot of staff around, breakfast wasn’t being properly refilled, not good parking spots for bringing luggage in

Great breakfast, coffee all day...

Liked: This was a very nice hotel. Close to shops and downtown frankenmuth
Disliked: We heard the pool was heated- it was a little cool if it was heated.

Liked: The location was great! Nice to have a coffee machine in the room.
Disliked: Room wasn't ready when we checked in at 3:00. Our carpet had not been swept. Saw mold on all 4 walls of the bathroom up high and the bathtub. Didn't have a vent for the bathroom - strange. Saw a cockroach in our bathroom also - and immediately had to put all our belongings away and zipped up to protect them. For a newer location, we were disappointed in the "wear and tear" in the hotel - stains on carpet etc.... We were looking forward to the famous cinnamon rolls for breakfast but they were still cold and slightly frozen! We found a microwave and heated them up and then they were good. Overall just disappointed. We used to travel and stay in Holiday Inn Express and enjoyed them - but I would not stay in another one again - especially not this location. Sorry.....

Disliked: Staff at front desk. No where to be found on numerous occasions resulting in long lines. Did not see when booking online only 1 vehicle was allowed on property.Barely any towels and no extra bedding for pull out couch.Phone in room didn’t work

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel is very clean. The staff is very attentive. Great selection at breakfast time, the person in charge of breakfast made sure that everything was replenished at all times. Great atmosphere.
Disliked: The bed where I slept had a strong body odor. I reported to the front desk and I am sure it was corrected.

Great place to stay at...

Liked: The shower water pressure was great.Lots of towels when needed.TV and WiFi easy to access. Accessible parking.Large common room to play cards in and to sit in to talk with others.
Disliked: Would have loved a closet but not a deal breaker with all the other great things at this Holiday Inn.
