Unnecessarily Intimidated

Liked: The hotel was clean, comfortable and the people working at the front desk the next morning for check out were really nice.
Disliked: I think our color (black), intimidated the night clerk, because she called the police. They asked her if she was OK and if we were doing anything. She told them that we weren't doing anything at the moment. I guess she needed them to come and check on her but we hadn't done anything. I'm a Minister, and my family and I are pretty calm people. We just sat at the pool and the kids splashed around and were swimming.We had to change rooms because the fridge wasn't working and there was water dripping from it. The clerk had us bring all of our things to the front desk just to take everything back up to the 3rd floor, a couple of doors down from our original room. In that room, the phone didn't work and the fridge only had one shelf in it. I went downstairs again to inform the clerk but I didn't want to move again so she was to give me points toward my membership.

Liked: The location was great.
Disliked: Breakfast was non existent, bedding was itchy. Beds weren't comfortable. I booked for queen room and they were full size beds

Nice hotel but not good...

Liked: I did not stay there.
Disliked: Booking.com defaulted to a standard room when I requested a 2 queen room. This is unacceptable. I expect a refund on this booking as there were people that rented it as we were leaving. They had posted a no vacancy sign and the clerk even told me that was the last room available. So in accordance to the law that room is required to be refunded as it cannot be rented twice in 24 hours. Booking.com has been my go to booking agent but lately seems not to be providing good service.
