Very good service. Fast and friendly check in. Excellent continental breakfast. Awesome location. We were attending a show at the Starlite Room, just down the street and around the corner. Would stay here again and definitely recommend it.

Liked: The room was quite clean -- especially the bathroom, which is a big thing for me -- and the amenities were quite functional. I also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast spread.
Disliked: The front desk staff neglected to inform me that the breakfast availability changed between Friday and Saturday. Luckily, the breakfast staff was understanding and accommodating and told me to help myself to whatever was available.

Comparable room in other downtown...
Liked: Only the location.
Disliked: Worst service I have ever had from staff at any hotel I have ever stayed at and some years I spend over 100 nights in hotels due to work travel. Got stuck in elevator and front desk did not seemed concerned. Their maintenance guy could not get it working. When called back to update him on situation with a person in panic due to being claustrophobic and small children in elevator, were told a technician would be at least 45 minutes and hung up. About 15 minutes later with another call, same thing, 45 minutes and hung up. A person in elevator had to call 911 to get fire department to come get us out. Staff acted unconcerned. Spent over 45 minutes in elevator. When I asked to see a manager, was told none in until Monday and this was a Saturday. They said a manager would call me on Monday. Did not get a call. On Tuesday, I called and left a message at 4 PM. My call was returned at appx. 7 PM that night. The so called manager then told me nothing they could about elevator as it was a mechanical issue. Then said there was too many people on elevator. Sign said 8 people or 2000lbs. There were 9 people that was far less than 2000lbs as 1 person was a toddler too young to even speak, a 7 year old and another young child. The manager then tried to tell me there were 11 people, which was untrue and that they talked to 10 before calling me. More people than were on the elevator, including the toddler. They offered me a $25 gift certificate for future use. I told him that was an insult, especially after lying to me about how many people he talked to when it was more than on elevator. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE STARTS FROM THE TOP DOWN AT THIS LOCATION!!!!! I will never stay there again and recommend this hotel to absolutely nobody.
