Very helpful and friendly check...

Liked: Excellent location with only a 10 min bus journey into the city centre. Very friendly and helpful staff, they take pride in there work. Breakfast and room was excellent.
Disliked: Bathroom was slightly tired with few stains on the bedroom carpet.

Fabulous city break at holiday...

Liked: Great Hotel for the price. All of the staff we spoke to were really lovely - it was only 10 to 15 minutes into the centre of Edinburgh on the bus which stops right outside the hotel. Lovely breakfast with plenty of things to choose from. exceptional view across the whole of Edinburgh city from our floor (4th). Rooms clean and tidy with all the amenities needed.
Disliked: Nothing to say here

Good location. Rooms need improvement

Liked: Location is good. 43 Lothian bus will take you to Princes Street pretty quickly.Breakfast is reasonable. Beds are comfortable
Disliked: Our room smelled of cigarettes. We tried airing it and left the windows open and nothing changed the stench. Our teenage children were in a conjoining room to ours, and their's smelled fine. The rooms are so warm. The air con wasn't working in either of our rooms, and while there was a small fan provided in each, it simply wasn't enough. It made for an uncomfortable night of sleep.

Overall pleasant stay, but need...

Liked: Calm and peaceful location. Reachability and commute to hotel is easy and all the main tourist attractions are nearby
Disliked: Not happy with the service I.e not worth for the money I have paid and when compare to other Holiday inn hotel in other countries. No en-suite washroom was available even when I have booked the same. Toiletries like moisturiser, toothpaste, brush was not present in the bathroom ( even calling at the receptionist they are not willing to provide one)

Loved the place...
