Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City West

Great value, convenient and friendly

Liked: Well positioned with bus stop outside the hotel that provided options for getting into the city. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpfull. Breakfast had lots of choices and well staffed. Great service.
Disliked: Common areas were well used and it was starting to looked aged. Lifts were slow in the morning. Took me 10 mins to get a lift from.2nd floor.

Liked: All was very comfortable and staff was really good.
Disliked: The parking needs sorting out either use a machine to pay for parking or pay at reception, the code style is not very good. Also got a parking notice even though I had paid the correct money, still having problems with the company you use. You need to look into the reviews not one good one

Liked: Good location, clean, nice bar, and a very good breakfast.
Disliked: The price, due to an event at the nearby stadium the price of the room seemed excessive.

Liked: It was clean
Disliked: Central heating / cooling system was not working . It was hot day with no cooling / refrigeration. Have to open up the windows , noisy for kids during sleep hours Staff declined the request to transfer over to another room . No refund offered

Disliked: Extortionate price compared to other hotels I have stayed at in the Holiday Inn Express chain.

Very good stay

Liked: The location was great and easy to access the Edinburgh City Centre by bus and some attractions also walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and meet my expectations.
Disliked: The breakfast almost the same everyday.
