Holiday Inn Express - Durango

Great place to stay!

Liked: It was very well kept and clean! They had good breakfast and amazing cinnamon rolls! Good location by the river! Staff was very nice!
Disliked: Pillows were too soft. Getting across the street to go downtown was difficult because there was no crosswalk nearby so we had to figure out which light to try and catch.

Liked: We like the property, but there was some disconnection with the check in. We arrived early around noon. We did let the front desk know that we were there and understood that room wasn’t ready. When we came back at 3:40pm, we were told room still was “kind of dirty” and young lady asked us to come back in 20min. Never checked with housekeeping if room was ready or not. I dont understand how 20 min make a difference and why we could t be checked in.

Liked: We have visited Durango annually for several years. This hotel was the best we’ve booked.Its location was ideal for restaurants, Animas River trail, and getting to Fort Lewis College.
