Holiday Inn Express - Downtown San Diego By IHG

Great place and close to San Diego Convention Center.

Liked: Room was clean and homey.
Disliked: My room was across from a vending machine. Very loud.

Parking spaces are tight; glad we drove a small car.

Liked: Great proximity to restaurants. I enjoyed the breakfast; staff was friendly and efficient.
Disliked: I paid a little extra for a view - of scaffolding. Beds are very firm.

Walking distance to downtown; clean rooms; friendly staff. Spent two nights here. Really enjoyed it. If I'm ever in the area again I would return.

Disliked: Chagred twice for my stay - once as a hold until the day after I checked out. Was not told about this!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were exceptionally pleased (and surprised) with the complimentary breakfast.

Liked: Complimentary breakfast.
Disliked: Additional $16 parking fee.
