Holiday Inn Express Denver Central - North

I had an overall good stay here at Comfort Inn at Denver. It was also very close to the event I came to attend. The breakfast in the morning was also very good.

Liked: The cleanliness.
Disliked: The balcony is not what I expected. And the pools are never open.

For the price it was...

Liked: Breakfast was good
Disliked: The hotel was super dirty. We found used contacts, food and dirt and grime all over the room. It was also so close to the freeway it was hard for us to sleep with all the noise.

Some good, some bad, overall...

Liked: I liked the location (proximity to activities) and the fact that it had a pool.
Disliked: I did not like that the pool had to undergo maintenance during availability hours ( could it have been completed while pool was closed?) so I was unable to utilize that. Also, the housekeeping didn’t come so I had to seek out staff for fresh towels. The front desk was unoccupied for 20 minutes, so I went looking for staff to assist.

Disliked: Our room had not been swept. You could see hair on the floor from the previous occupants

Liked: The property is located close to downtown Denver, offering a nice mountain view. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. The pool area can be a good place for relaxation.
Disliked: It was all good.

Great cost, location and amenities!

Liked: The pool, free breakfast and gym were great amenities!
Disliked: The bathroom door was a sliding one that wouldnt stay closed, it would roll open. No vent in the bathroom so that wasn't a good combo with the open door!
