Holiday Inn Express Columbus East-Reynoldsburg By IHG

I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family. I honestly wouldn't recommend this hotel to an enemy.

Liked: They had breakfast.
Disliked: The kids running above our room all hours of the night; the hotel is run down and needs to have a deep clean. There were police at one point searching the second floor and a weird little man running around with a towel and spray bottle talking about a stain on the floor. They only gave us two extra towels for a family of four. The pool had leaves in it and a weird mud on the floor of the pool room.

Disliked: I have a prepaid visa that my direct deposit goes on every pay since 2016. My identity was stolen so I don't have a regular bank. The third time I booked n went to pay the front desk denied my payment because it wasn't a bank. Which it is just not a popular one. This is after I have already stayed and paid with same debit card twice before. After driving almost 3 hours, I had to book a room next door. Which was an inconvenience

Exceptional

Liked: We booked this hotel so we where close to the hospital for my daughter's surgery. Our stay here was awesome everyone was pleasant .Check in was fast and no problem the rooms where nice and clean beds were nice and comfy with plenty of pillows to choose from firm to soft. Breakfast was really good nice variety of breakfast items to choose from. Manager was very nice and pleasant. We would definitely stay again if we are back that way .
Disliked: Pool was a little chilly but other than that everything was great

Liked: The breakfast was delicious. Staff was great and asked us if we needed anything to let her know.
Disliked: Problems with commode not flushing. Contacted the front desk. They sent someone with a plunger. Said it was fixed. Said it was a tampon, which it was not. Was hit or miss working. Had the plunger in room. for stay.

Disliked: The air conditioning was not working in our room

Liked: Breakfast was very good. The staff was very nice, helpful, and pleasant.
Disliked: We paid a lot more than we usually do to have a nicer hotel but it wasn't nicer than the inexpensive hotels we usually book. The beds were uncomfortable, very soft and lumpy which doesn't work with two people in a bed. Room not at all sound proof. You could hear everything the people were doing overhead.
