Set in a historic building with contemporary décor and hardwood floors, Holiday Inn Express Cleveland Downtown blends classic charm with modern convenience. Located on Euclid Avenue, you're in the heart of downtown Cleveland—just a 10-minute walk from major concert venues like Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse and Progressive Field. With free Wi-Fi, plush bedding, and a spacious vibe, this hotel sets you up for a stress-free concert night.
Concert fans rave about the hotel’s prime walkable location—no need to worry about parking or rideshares after a late show. Soundproofed rooms keep the downtown nightlife noise at bay, making it easy to crash after a high-energy gig. With a 4:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out, there’s time to chill before and after your event. Plus, the on-site game room is perfect for unwinding with friends.
While there’s no on-site restaurant, the hotel offers a free hot breakfast—ideal for late risers after a show. You’ll find walkable late-night eateries just steps away, perfect for a quick bite after the encore. Tea and coffee-making facilities in every room add that extra cozy touch, and downtown Cleveland’s dining scene is right outside your door.
You're spoiled for choice with nearby bars, lounges, and late-night spots. Whether you're grabbing a nightcap or continuing the party, downtown Cleveland has it all. While the hotel doesn’t offer live music onsite, its central location makes it easy to find whatever vibe you’re after—be it a high-energy club or a relaxed local pub pouring craft beers.
Guests praise the spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff, and unbeatable location. Many love the historic building’s charm paired with modern amenities like flat-screen TVs and fast Wi-Fi. The game room is a hit for pre-concert fun, and reviewers frequently mention how easy it is to walk to their event venues.
Some guests mention that the downtown traffic noise can be noticeable during peak hours—though things quiet down at night. Parking is available but can be a bit pricey, so concert-goers might want to consider ride-shares or public transit. Elevator wait times can be longer during busy weekends.
With its unbeatable location, cozy rooms, and walkable access to Cleveland’s top venues, Holiday Inn Express Cleveland Downtown is a concert-goer’s dream base for a night—or weekend—of music and memories.

Holiday Inn Downtown is a great place to stay if your in the House of Blues area or going to a Cav's game. It’s a 3 minute walk to the show, there are plenty of nearby restaurants and bars to start your night. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the rates are pretty reasonable. I would stay again.
Liked: The building was retro cool and very close to our venue. The room was very clean; the bed was amazingly comfy; the room had a fridge which was perfect for pregame drinks and the floor was hardwood which I thought was a nice touch and cleaner than carpet. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was good. All good experiences.
Disliked: Nothing really bad. The elevators were a little sketchy but got us up and down to where we needed to be. And we had a few good laughs at 2 of our experiences in them. So I would say it’s a win.

Liked: Clean and good breakfast.
Disliked: Did not feel safe with the lobby unattended - anyone can come in off the street and get in the elevator.

Liked: Nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. Albeit I normally go for the cheapest hotel possible but the rooms here were huge and clean.

I would definitely recommend it to friends for a different place to stay. Friendly staff all around! Rooms need some warming up and a little more updated style mixed with the old building. No art work on walls? Not much spent from the hotel chain to make it a bit nicer and give it an easy WOW factor. There's amazing potential that the old bank already brings, but you don't take advantage of it! Rustic, industrial decor/lighting, historical Cleveland pics, and colors would be perfect!
Liked: The high celings and wood floors gave it a fun and spacious feel! Room seemed a little cold with lack of decorations to warm it up.
Disliked: The king mattress comfort layers are shot. You sink right to the coils. I was excited to get that lofty hotel mattress feel for the price we paid. That was disappointing. I also thought it might have a jet tub or something unique to reflect the higher price.
