Disliked: Staff was preoccupied with houskeeping tasks while I was trying to check in and check out. Room lacked a microwave. Price was WAY out of line.

Love the Holiday Inn Express in Charleston. It was close and didn't have to move my vehicle for anything. I go there for Basketball State tournaments. We'll stay there again, just hated that my vehicle was hit in the parking lot.

Liked: Very clean and close to the Charleston Civil Center
Disliked: My truck got hit in the parking lot and the person didn't leave their name,number or address they just drove off.

Nice place to stay near...

Liked: The location of the hotel is perfect for access to the events in the area. The staff was nice. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: The rooms could have used a bit better cleaning. Our room was fairly dirty with hair in the tub and sink and what appeared to be food in the carpet. It wasn't bad for the cost though.

Disliked: No coffee set up for us and soap dispensers were empty, toilet was not clean, looked like someone pooped and it didn’t fully flush.
