Very poor

Liked: The room and breakfast were fine but I expect a little more for the price.
Disliked: The fire alarm went off early in the morning, we were evacuated to be told once outside it was a false alarm.

Just what we needed

Liked: The property was central to our needs, the staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast was a wonderful start to the day
Disliked: Well we kept getting only one towel after the room was made up. The breakfast was wonderful but the worker with the long loose blonde hair that was constantly being played with was a little off putting especially as she was dealing with topping up food in the buffet.

OK stay

Liked: Friendly and welcoming staff. The checkin was smooth and I like that breakfast is included, saving us the hassle of finding a place to eat in the morning.
Disliked: I’ve returned to this hotel after 5 years and I can clearly see that’s in need of a refresh.

Really convenient for the station...

Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent for Bristol Temple Meads, so that was great; the room was clean and there were three mugs and glasses provided for the three of us (I have had issues with this in other hotels); beds were perfectly comfortable, and breakfast was better than anticipated.
Disliked: The first member of staff I spoke to on arrival was quite perfunctory, and as the shift was changing over she passed us to the next group rather than just checking us in, which I did not appreciate. But once the next staff member took over, all the service from then on was great.
