great comfortable weekend stay
Liked: Location excellent as opposite train station.Quality service and staff.Good food and bar area.Rooms comfortable and served by lift.
Disliked: Heating was not working in room but, were provided with a heater for weekend stay.

Liked: Very handy location when arriving by train, the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good too. Would definitely stay again..

Disliked: My stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare, and I strongly urge potential guests to avoid it until serious changes are made.First, all my cosmetics and toiletries mysteriously went missing from my room. After I reported this, I eventually found most of the items in the housekeeping room, but this kind of gross mishandling is completely unacceptable. Guests should not have to worry about the security of their personal belongings, and this incident shows a shocking lack of professionalism.Second, the room itself was barely habitable. The air conditioning was broken, and during the night, the temperature dropped so low that it was nearly impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, after housekeeping cleaned the room, they left the window wide open, turning the room into an icebox. This demonstrates an alarming level of carelessness and disregard for guest comfort. When I asked for a heater, the waiter actually asked if I thought the room was too hot or too cold. Adding to the frustration, the front desk was utterly useless. I repeatedly tried to call for assistance, but no one ever answered the phone. This lack of basic customer service is simply inexcusable for any hotel.This experience was not just inconvenient—it was infuriating. The hotel’s failure to maintain security, comfort, and communication reveals systemic issues that need immediate attention. I demand that management take full responsibility, implement strict corrective measures, and offer a proper explanation for this abysmal service.

Good location and perfect for...
Liked: Location good, within walking distance of train station, and buses into city centre. Good variety of breakfast, included in the price. Helpful and friendly staff.
Disliked: The bed could have been more comfortable, the mattress was quite hard.
