The Spotlight on Holiday Inn Express Boston Brockton By IHG

Comfort Meets Convenience Just Outside Boston

Modern, reliable, and budget-friendly, Holiday Inn Express Boston Brockton is a solid pick for concert-goers who want comfort without the big-city hassle. Located directly across from Westgate Shopping Center, this hotel places you close to shopping, dining, and just a short drive from several popular music venues and event spaces. With free Wi-Fi, a hot breakfast included, and cozy in-room amenities like a microwave and fridge, it’s a great home base for your music-fueled getaway.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel offers a quieter suburban vibe, perfect for decompressing after a loud night out. With easy access to major highways, getting to and from your show is a breeze—even late at night. The 11:00 AM check-out gives you time to sleep in, and the free hot breakfast is a welcome bonus after a long night. The on-site indoor pool and fitness room are ideal for a little post-concert recovery.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for an affordable base near Boston
  • Solo travelers catching a bucket-list artist
  • Couples planning a low-key music weekend
  • Fans who prefer a quieter, more relaxed post-show vibe
  • Budget-conscious music fans wanting value and convenience

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site bar, guests love the convenience of being across from Westgate Shopping Center, which offers several casual dining spots. Rooms come with microwaves and fridges for late-night snacks, and the complimentary hot breakfast is available even if you sleep in a bit. Though there’s no 24/7 room service, dining nearby is easy and accessible.

Nightlife Options

You won’t find live music or a buzzing bar scene in the hotel itself, but you’re within a short drive of Brockton’s local hot spots and some low-key pubs for a nightcap. If you’re willing to venture a bit, Boston’s nightlife is accessible by car or ride-share.

What People Say

Guests consistently mention the friendly staff, clean rooms, and quiet atmosphere. The location next to shopping and dining is a frequent plus, and many appreciate the free parking and overall value. It’s not flashy, but it gets the job done well.

Areas for Improvement

Some reviewers mention that the decor feels a bit dated in places, and because it's not in downtown Boston, you'll need to drive or ride-share to most major venues. That said, the trade-off is more space, free parking, and a quieter environment.

The Bottom Line

Holiday Inn Express Boston Brockton is a smart, affordable choice for concert-goers seeking comfort, convenience, and a quieter night’s sleep after the show.

Old dirty towel & body...

Liked: I like the locations proximity to the mall and other shopping and there were a couple of staff members that were very friendly
Disliked: The first room I stayed in, didn’t have a phone to call the front desk and as a single bedroom, I was only provided one towel. The room was musty and head up, unsanitary vibe to it. I had requested a double bed, but was only given the room with a single And after day one I was feeling queasy. I change rooms for night two but I paid almost $100 more than I did for a day one. I did not sleep very well and in the morning I shut the AC off which had been running all night because it had been cold enough after it had been off for half hour 40 minutes if that I turned it back on when it turned back on, it admitted some sort of Stale error or recycled the air from outside the hotel, which reeked of Ross sewage or a sterilized mold and or rodent toppings that project tiled out of the AC and I was sitting basically in front of the AC unit, and I got hit in the back of the head by a strange, fuzzy tingling and foul smelling burst that instantly caused the back of my head to have patches of hair disappear and for my hair to thin out in the back and have these uneven strands and the feeling of like lice moving around on my head. Whatever this thing was that became an airborne pathogen reached havoc on my body and led to a 911 call. There was bruising all over my skin all over my body inflammation systemic. I’ve swelled right up everywhere, including my face became huge and swollen. I felt there were bugs crawling on me all of my veins now on display and had become a very dark purple color. My hands and fingers were swollen. I had chest pains that were very frightening, I had tingling sensations in the brain. My left arm went numb. I could hardly lift my legs to walk, and it induced a full-fledged panic attack. I began to have trembling, tremoring fingers and hands, and I had no motor skills. I couldn’t think straight. I was dropping everything I was trying to Touch, I was disoriented, and my vision was flickering in and out. In a week, blood test will hopefully pinpoint the cau

They took care of our...

Liked: Accommodated us after we discovered our assigned room 207 had stained walls, looked like ammonia or urine or bleach. We were told it was bleach. They moved us to a different room, so that was good.
Disliked: 1)Stains on the original room 207. 2) I asked for a receipt upon check out and the clerk said I needed to contact the site I used to book the room. I contacted the site and they said it’s the hotel’s responsibility and obligation to provide a receipt to me. It was if I asked her for a free nights stay! She asked me for my email and I provided it, which she did nothing with it. Just to humor me. Why was it so hard to just print out the receipt, she was staring at the receipt on the computer. I don’t get it!

Very good

Liked: I apparently booked the wrong room. Booked a one queen bedroom for three people. Hotel offered to move us for the first night but were sold out for the second so we chose to stay in the original room they gave us a cot which worked out fine. The room was a bit small to try to fit the cot in but we made it work
Disliked: No one was at the front desk on a regular basis. When we checked in someone who was passing by actually hollered and then someone came out. Perhaps a bell would be helpful.

Smile smelling room, rude reception

Liked: Close to foxborough
Disliked: Our room smelled so bad of smoke!! And we don’t smoke. Had to be sure to tell the reception so we wouldn’t get charged for the smell. It was so bad. Still haven’t gotten my $50 hold back yet on my card. They also put us right near the lay dry area so all we heard was the workers in the morning slamming doors and talking so loudly. When we checked in the guy was so rude, I asked for a second floor room he rolled his eyes and said ya not available. Won’t stay here again! The Town and country across the street is much nicer and friendlier. They didn’t have rooms this year, so we opted for Holiday inn, but NEVER again.
