Holiday Inn Express Boca Raton - West By IHG

I booked the room MONTHS in advance. To then have room changed because of over booking. At checkout, I was not given a receipt to find out I was charged $20 for something. Didn't know until my credit card company notified me. Nice place to stay if you are getting up early.

Liked: The location is convenient to Sunset Cove Amphitheater.
Disliked: Staff is attentive, but from 9-10am, they knocked on my door 3 times when checkout is at 11.

Overall the hotel was good. We only needed a place to stay for the night following a concert that was close to the venue and reasonably priced. The only complaint was the mattress on bed was worn.

Liked: Room was clean; good water pressure in shower; good complimentary breakfast; friendly staff; room had balcony.
Disliked: The bed was a bit uncomfortable due to worn out mattress.

Liked: It was quite and clean.
Disliked: When we arrived, there was no front desk stuff for a few minutes. Then our room key didn't work when he fixed it and walked into out room their were already guest in that room. We also got charged twice for the 50 dollar hold, we told the front desk guy, and he said no, but it was on our bank account. We were offered a partial discount on our stay for our troubles and was told that I needed to call booking to confirm it and have booking call back I did and the front office worker said he wasn't authorized to issue one that I would need to wait for a manager the following day. So why tell me to call booking and he will issue it if he wasn't authorized to actually do so. The toilet also leaked when we used it.
