Hotel was good value, but...

Liked: Good location near Ferris State U in Big Rapids. Plenty of restaurants around. Staff was friendly and quick. Breakfast was good and well stocked.
Disliked: Parts of the hotel are very out of date. Our room on the 2nd floor seemed like a step back in time to the 90s. Dated shower/tub and toilet. No bath vent. Door did not shut well. Kind of dark and dated in the room. It appeared that renovations are happening, but did not seem to be like the usual Holiday Inn Expresses we go to.
