Liked: Staff were very helpful, bar/restaurant was inviting and comfortable. Air con was great in public area. Nice to have the bar open continuously. We had the apple crumble for pudding when we came back from eating out and it was delicious. The pancake machine at breakfast is also a brilliant idea. Our room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was well equipped and we liked the complementary Dove soap. Our bed was comfortable and nice to have a choice of pillow firmness.
Disliked: Some areas of the room were looking tired, paint scuffed and plastic covering coming away. No aircon in the room, only had a table fan, which helped but in 33 degree heat, we could have done with better. Shower was pleasant but needed more power.We had to ask to move rooms at 10pm due to disturbance from neighbour, can't fault staff for helping us to do this.We arrived at breakfast at 9am and found we were rushed as breakfast finished at 9.30am and on the dot everything was put away. At no point were we informed that this would happen or asked if we wanted anything more before the staff started to do this.
