Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant open late, the hotel offers a free hot breakfast served until late morning – perfect after a night out. You’ll find plenty of walkable pubs, cafés, and takeaways nearby in the Queens Quarter. The hotel also offers a limited bar menu and drinks in the lounge area.

Nightlife Options

You’re in one of Belfast’s most cultural districts, so there’s no shortage of local bars and live music pubs within walking distance. Whether you’re after a laid-back pint or somewhere to keep the night going, you’ll find it nearby. The hotel bar is low-key but great for a nightcap.

What People Say

Guests consistently praise the friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and great location close to both city attractions and music venues. The value for money and strong WiFi also get frequent mention, making it a favourite for both short and extended stays.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms are on the simpler side – think functional, not flashy. There’s no gym or spa, and while the area is generally quiet, light sleepers should request a room away from the street. Still, for the price, it delivers exactly what most concert-goers need.

Passable

Liked: We booked in advance for my daughters graduation on booking.com and have never previously had issues . But this time we were given a double bed instead of a twin. I had to share with my 14 yr old daughter. Had a sofa bed the 2nd night which was still not great for the price.
Disliked: Sharing a bed the 1st night, then a sofa bed the 2nd instead of the twin room we booked. £250 for 2 poor nights sleep. It was so hot in the rooms so kept the window open, and there was no extractor fan in the bathroom either.

Disappointing and wouldn't recommend

Liked: The room was sufficient for our needs, the bathroom was clean.
Disliked: The breakfast was really poor. Continental selection was very limited. Location wasn't great, the area of the street that the hotel is situated on is very run down, broken windows and damaged properties out the front and groups of men made us reluctant to walk there. We used the car park, and the homes behind it which are visible through the railings surrounding the car park, there were screams and other noises coming from the properties. Most disappointingly a staff member was particularly rude on a couple of occasions, when asking for assistance with a faulty room key it seemed as if this was a huge chore and also when my daughter had banged her head and asked for an ice pack the staff member was very unhelpful. While I appreciate the hotel didn't have an ice pack it would have been reasonable to ask if there's anything else they could have helped her with, an a request for an ice pack would indicate an injury.

A clean, comfortable hotel

Liked: Comfortable bed, friendly staff, good tasty breakfast.
Disliked: It’s a slightly longer walk from the city centre than I imagined and the local area had a bit of an issue with litter- I think the seagulls had got into the bins. No air con in the room
