Holiday Inn Express Bedford

Ideally located budget friendly hotel

Liked: Check in was very easy. The car park was right next to the hotel. The room was clean and had an ironing board and iron in the room. There was tea and coffee making facilities. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and proper toasters to use. The breakfast room was a good size and looked out at nice green area. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. The hotel is only 3 miles from the village our relatives live in so is ideal when we visit.
Disliked: There was a choice of hard or soft pillows, the hard one was like laying on a rock; the soft one was smaller and didn’t give any support, I had to fold it over which was not ideal. A medium pillow would have been better for me. There was only one small towel which we both used to dry our hands so I didn’t have one to dry my face, it would be helpful if there were 2 hand towels in the room.

Liked: Loved location ideal for our visit.
Disliked: Alarm went off twice in night very loud and unsettling -was told faulty sensor very difficult to sleep afterwards. Also in addition very inconsiderate selfish female in room 137 night of 26/7 shouting and arguing for an hour 1/2 solid kept me up !

Liked: Love the design of the door for the bathroom and toilet combined. Breakfast was good freshly cooked plenty of choice. ice shower and hot water
Disliked: They ran out of coissants but not a problem really. I had plenty to eat.
