Holiday Inn Express Bath

Good location with bus route right outside. Nice and quiet despite lots of people staying there. Friendly staff and nice breakfast.

Liked: Lovely warm room and really comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and good atmosphere.
Disliked: None.

Overall I wasn’t impressed

Liked: Location, most of staff
Disliked: They charged us for parking but no space available, I clearly mentioned my kids are 15 and 11 but double sofa bed as they said wasn’t even big enough for one child, towels were dirty and had holes in them, AC was faulty and making too much noise, mattress was like a curve

Good value for money.

Liked: All the facilities, especially they also kept gluten free options in the breakfast.
Disliked: Rooms can be little bit more spacious.

Disliked: Hotel is too much dirty And we were 2 parents and 2 kids. They give us very small room

Clean, tidy, great location to...

Liked: Clean, tidy, good location. Also love the fact you can get a to go breakfast and drink in the mornings.
Disliked: One small gripe. Had a couple emails before our stay to say if you want the sofa bed made up you must ask for it prior to arrival . Which I didn’t really understand as we were traveling as a family of 3 so it was obvious on the booking we needed the sofa bed made up. Anyway I emailed in the morning to say we would like the sofa bed made up please, however when we got there it wasn’t made up and we had only items for two people ( towels, cups, glasses etc ) We rang reception and explained the room was only set up for two people. A lady from hospitality came and made the bed up and bought fresh towels, she was lovely, very friendly, polite and chatty , but we never did receive the extra cup/ glass so we just made do for the two nights as we did have our travel mugs with us.

Liked: If the hotel thinks it is okay to expect guests take a chance on arrival to find a parking space and, if lucky, find a space and pay parking fees for the stay then be afraid to take the car out for the day only to find no parking spaces left (space not gaurenteed) even if pre paid then they should re think. We have used this hotel for many years but no more. We witnessedresidents confronted, once luggage unloaded, a walk of 1 1/2 miles to the nearest car park at £50 per day. CRAZY.

Superb

Liked: Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. Beds were adequate for our needs.
Disliked: Very busy and a bit of a walk from centre.

Liked: The room was comfortable, staff lovely
Disliked: Breakfast very dry both days, the tap in our room was horrendous put it on a little bit not enough do it faster it splashes everywhere, parking we was there less than 48 hours but got charged for 72 , it says £17-50 for 24 hour's I don't mind that , but because we arrived Wednesday afternoon and left Friday first thing we was charged for 3 full days not 48 hours as I would have expected.

Very good

Liked: Their breakfast is not bad, and they've got friendly staff
Disliked: Their shower facilities are quite old and can do for an update

Clean, convenient and comfortable but...

Liked: Good location and good facilities
Disliked: The cost of parking. Stayed for less than 24 hours but got charged £35 as it was two separate days. Not good enough really. It should be charged per 24 hour period as opposed to resetting at midnight.
