Holiday Inn Express and Suites Natchez South

Liked: The size of the room was fine and the location was good, a short stroll into town to access the main attractions.
Disliked: Having done a lot of road trips, and having stayed in many Holiday Inn Expresses, this was a bit disappointing. The shower looked like it had never seen a bottle of limescale remover, the taps and metal work were grey rather than shiny which is immediately off putting. The hotel pool was not available, I think it was being renovated.There was a lack of choice at breakfast in comparison to other Holiday Inns. They provided tea bags, but no hot water. When another guest enquired, they were provided with some microwaved water! The juice machine didn't have what was labelled either. The apple juice came out as cold water.

No hot water on first...

Liked: Location
Disliked: No hot water on first day, second day was intermittent third day very low pressure.Cable did not work second night.Vent in bathroom has not been working for a long time, ceiling in bathroom is peeling off and hitting/getting in your hair.

Front desk said both problems...

Disliked: No hot water and in room coffee pot had mold growing in it.

Convenient, nice but inconvenient

Liked: The location was convenient to the venue we had an event to prepare for. The breakfast was also a bonus.
Disliked: On arrival, we had to wait almost 40 minutes in the lobby because the front desk associate was not there. When she did return, she was complaining with another person that was with her about leaving when her shift ended and didn’t care if the next person showed up on time, she was leaving. I found that to be very unprofessional to say in front of guests who are checking in. It was already bad enough we had to wait as long as we did.

Liked: Location is pretty good. Easy to get to alot of things here.
Disliked: Went to get in my bed and it had not been cleaned!!!! This was at like 10PMThe sink was clogged up. Had to get a plunger to clean out the obstruction and black crap shot out of the overflow all over the mirror and the wall. Dirty wash rag still in shower. Come on Holiday Inn....

Our hotel stay was Amazing...

Liked: The Customer Satisfaction was Amazing. All of our requests were granted, and breakfast was Amazing as well. We really enjoyed the 'Pancake Maker.' We will definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you for your service!
