Liked: Staff was great and location was soooo clean and quite

One night stay.. second night...

Liked: Excellent water pressure!!! Clean room. Good breakfast!
Disliked: Smell of pot strong on first floor at elevators .. really a no smiling hotel that charges for smoking? First floor end of hall outside door wasn’t latching… desk staff said “yeah, it’s been a problem”. Really? Group of young teens at opposite end of our hall were loud and crazy, but it’s not your hotel’s doing.

While the room was clean...

Liked: I was unable to enjoy the breakfast, I traveled with my daughter, and we arrived at 1:00 in the morning and needed to leave at 7:00 for a basketball game.
Disliked: The staff, specifically the manager, were extremely unhelpful. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had in terms of customer service. The manager and staff were not only unresponsive to a request to pay for late checkout, but they were also accusatory and humiliated me in the lobby of the hotel. There were other guests present at the time. We paid over $300 for a few hours in the room, and I was made to feel unwelcome and as if we were there for some unsavory reason. I noted a sign on the door as well, this sign informed the public that no locals were welcome at the establishment. This was another first!My daughter and our family travel to the area quite frequently for basketball and after our experience at this hotel, I will never recommend it to any other parent, coach or staff.I was fine with paying over the regular rate by $200 but this treatment was outrageous. I want to reiterate that in all of my life I have never been treated this poorly by staff. The fact that it was the manager is entirely unacceptable and most likely creates an atmosphere where the staff as a whole is affected by his behavior.
