Conveniently located to venue. The hotel was great! Such a nice room for one person. The breakfast next morning was amazing. Would definitely stay there again, if I go back!

Disliked: Not having a room ready and cleaned when checking in. Had to wait in line for forty minutes only to be told go wait another 20 minutes because rooms weren't ready, even though I had reservations!

Three rooms booked and paid for, but nothing available upon arrival
Liked: We like nothing about this visit. We had booked three rooms and we were denied access to any of them. We were told our reservations had been canceled to make room for migrants. Since I had already paid for the three rooms this was totally unacceptable to us. We had to go elsewhere to find accommodation this was a very sad experience for us. I'm very disappointed.
Disliked: We were not notified that our reservation for three rooms have been canceled prior to our arrival. I was disappointed to get there and have nothing. I can't see anything that would convince me to book there again after this.

Clean and comfortable but the location and atmosphere was less welcoming.
Liked: The room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. We had a sort of accidental upgrade as they had just added second beds to the king rooms, so we had two beds! The breakfast was nice and the reception staff were friendly.
Disliked: [July 2023] The hotel is currently being used to house immigrants awaiting visa applications and we were unaware of this at the time of booking. We would have appreciated being told that we would still be welcome and that it wouldn't interfere with our enjoyment of the hotel. The presence of numerous security guards inside and outside of the hotel was disconcerting. We didn't feel unwelcome but felt that we perhaps shouldn't have been there. There didn't appear to be any other guests staying there at the time and we felt a bit uncomfortable. The location is dismal and unwelcoming - it's surrounded by concrete - empty car parks, highway overpasses and abandoned buildings. It's also not that close to the centre of the city. The hotel also didn't have any tourist information available e.g. a city guide, transport information and restaurant recommendations.
