Holiday Inn Express - Akron NW - FairlawnBy IHG

We stayed at the Doubletree due to its proximity to the Blossom Music Center and good reviews. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel! It is located directly across the street from the Summit Mall. It was only a short 10 minute drive from Blossom. The only negative was that parking was somewhat limited during the day due to a wedding reception being held at the hotel. Other than that, we had nothing but positive experiences during our stay.

Liked: Great..hot & fresh. Good coffee. Nice clean room. Lots of choice.
Disliked: The pool area was needing repairs. There was mild and crumbling walls. The bathtub in my room was outraged and dangerous. You had to step high into it to use the shower. The floor wasn't nonslip either.

Liked: The beds are super comfortable and the staff is friendly.
Disliked: The pool was gross. There was trash on the bottom of the pool and band-aid. There are no towels in the pool area for kids to grab to use. We had to use our room towels, and we couldn't shower because there were no towels, and they were out at the front desk. When the staff cleaned our room we were gone. They left someone else trash in our room filled with gross smelly fruit. When cleaning the rooms, they need to not bring and leave other people trash. I was so mad 😠 😡.
