Poor
Liked: The central location was good.
Disliked: The hotel is run down. The moment you entered, you could see that the mat at the front door was worn and covering a ripped piece of carpet. The chairs in the reception were old - many had the black underside hanging down and there were pieces of litter on the shelves and the carpet wasn't clean. The sink in the bathroom took ages to drain away. The breakfast was busy and there was no indication of allergens on any of the available dishes. The ladies' toilet next to the restaurant was in urgent need of a clean when I used it on Sunday morning. This wasn't necessarily within the control of the hotel, but there was a great deal of noise outside from 3;30am to 4:30 am and I think it was from hotel guests. No air conditioning meant that the window had to be left open, so the fracas seemed even louder.

quad room very small
Liked: close to city center
Disliked: the quad room was a double room with an additional sofa bed. Literally no space to open luggage or walk around the room. Claustrophobic.expensive parking spaces.

Good
Liked: Good location and friendly staff
Disliked: There was hair on the shower wall and bathroom floor. Long black hair, it’s very off putting and disgusting. Also there was a yellow stain on my bedding.

Central hotel that isn’t worth...
Liked: The bed was comfy and the hotel is central so in close proximity to everything you need.
Disliked: I specifically booked and paid for a room with sofa bed. I asked in the morning for the sofa bed to be made up. Upon returning at 5pm the sofa bed wasn’t made. I phoned down to reception and was told the room is for 2 people… okay? But I need the bed made. Again, it was an issue and I was told it’s for 2 people. I said we aren’t a couple we are friends, I didn’t pay £360 for a room with sofa bed for the sake of it, I didn’t book the sofa bed to look at. They looked me up on the system to see that u wasn’t given this room by chance I paid more to have it. They eventually came and made the sofa bed up but still said it’s because the booking is for 2 people. I’m failing to understand the logic behind this. The rooms are far too hot, it’s uncomfortable. You can’t have the window open the touch that it does open mind you, because of the noise, it wasn’t a pleasant experience and we wouldn’t recommend it or stay again. Nearly £400 for 8 hours sleep over the course of the weekend is shocking. The silicone around the bath is discoloured and unsightly. There’s two cups, no glasses unless you’re taking them from the bathroom. Lighting isn’t great. A fan was in the room however the noise of it like it was away to take off and the hot pathetic air it gave off wasn’t worth it. The beds are comfortable but with it being like hell on earth with the heat and noise it’s just not worth it at all.
