Liked: Very enjoyable stay; enjoyed shuttle service and the bar later in the night.

First time there and I really enjoyed my stay!! Very nice and professional staff, great location, clean rooms, and I loved the shuttle service!! The offered to take us to dinner and back! Wonderful shuttle service, less stress and gas money for me! I will totally stay there again!!

Liked: Location was decent. They did offer a shuttle.
Disliked: Room AC did not work correctly. Room stayed around 73. Visited from desk 3 times. They offered a fan. Pool room air quality so poor could hardly breath it was so HOT. Hotel guest open some doors for a cross breeze just to have staff come close. Bar area with the only seating was closed to families after 8 apparently an Iowa law when not serving food and only alcohol kids can't be in there.

Disliked: The parking lot has been closed for 6 months for “renovation” but there is still no sight of work being done 6 months later, they don’t do complimentary breakfast anymore like they advertised and the AC in the hotel rooms don’t work it only got warmer in my room as the day went on and we had the air turned all the way down to 50°. There is also a 2-3 inch gap at the bottom of the hotel room door that they came while I was sleeping and put 2 papers under my door with my home address on them. It felt like a huge violation of my privacy. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Disliked: Location is isolated and pretty drab and run down. Hotel is older and tired.

Liked: I informed them it was my anniversary and they upgraded our room to a suite with a jacuzzi tub free of charge. The view was great and the room was spacious.
Disliked: The furniture is old, scuffed and the wall paper is peeling.

Pleasant

Liked: Breakfast and the shuttle van
Disliked: Loud squealing from the toilet after flushing
